Vocational learning
Our aims for Vocational Learning are to develop work skills that are
transferrable into external settings, increasing knowledge and
understanding of expectations for those considering paid or voluntary work
now or in the future.
We aspire to deliver:
Therapeutic integration through sensory interaction
Understanding and learning about social norms
Being creative and experiential, identifying talents
Building confidence and improving communication skills
The different projects we provide are opportunities to experience a realistic
working environment and support adults to grow, create, build and sell
products and produce that are then sold on-site and at events.
We encourage all adults who attend the projects to participate at a pace
and level that suits them and to take ownership for the success of the
project, whether their contribution has been working as an individual or
collaborating with others in a group.
