Safeguarding
Safeguarding is of paramount importance to us, and is at the heart of
everything we do. Every staff member, regardless of department, undergoes
an enhanced disclosure and barring service check, as well as rigorous regular
safeguarding training to ensure everyone we support is safe, well and happy
while in our care. We adopt a multi agency approach, so everyone is working
together to achieve the same outcome. We operate under the Hertfordshire
Safeguarding Children Partnership, which encourages all childcare agencies to
work together to safeguard children.

Operation Encompass is a police and education
early information safeguarding partnership
enabling schools to offer immediate support to
children experiencing domestic abuse. Our Head
Teacher has completed this training course and St
Elizabeth's is registered on the police national
system as an Operation Encompass school. Further
