Kwaku’s Story
Sel昀椀e Tim
e!
I like all the lessons I do at sixth form
and I also enjoy the way I do my lessons at sixth form.
I particularly like maths and English because I find the way the work
is done is fun. I like the people who help me with it.
I like Strike Academy and The Drawing Room because we do a lot of different
things. And I like football.
I didn’t feel nervous about sixth form I felt happy when I started sixth form.
It was nice to see my friends that I knew from school. I have also met some
new friends and staff and have felt welcome. Some of my new friends are in
different classes in sixth form.
Since being in sixth form we have helped to choose what we make in food
technology. We research food and make shopping lists. We go to Tesco and
have learnt to find the food by reading the signs. We then scan and pack our
food that we use to make something in class. I have liked all the food we have
made from cookies to fruit smoothies. We have also made main meals from
scratch, like bolognaise and omelettes.
Every week this term we have been going to Church Farm. We have cleaned
out the rabbits, fed the alpacas, bulls, pigs, piglets and geese. We are hoping
to help with lambing.
Overall, I am very happy in sixth form!
